See What Can’t Be Seen

Samsung were tasked to develop a filter for Facebook Camera. It couldn’t show branding but could demonstrate the brand spirit. Using Samsung’s tag line “We make what can’t be made, so you can do what can’t be done”, I flipped it to “Do what can’t be done, then share what can’t be seen”, creating 2 original visual filter concepts that link directly Samsung’s brand philosophy.

1. Subject-In-Motion Filter

Smartphone senses on-screen subject’s motion and creates dispersion action overlays or shutter blur effects.

2. Selfie-In-Motion Filter

Use smartphone accelerometer / gyro / sensors to serve motion-related animation / graphic / AR overlays onto picture
